Pentti Saarikoski - Letter to my Wife

I have been to Finland many times and it is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a weird combination of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and there is no place like it. Finnish writer Pentti Saarikoski is also a weird combination. Part romantic and part cynic. “Letter to my Wife” takes place in Dublin, but it is a very Finnish book and Pentti writes his ass off. If you like Bukowski, you will like this.
